Privacy notice
Scan to BIM Studios is operated by HMX-GLOBAL ENGG INC. This notice explains what information we collect through the website, why we use it, and how to request access, correction, or deletion.
Who controls the data?
HMX-GLOBAL ENGG INC., 35 Androvette Street, Staten Island, NY 10309, USA, controls information submitted through this website. Contact info@scantobimstudios.com for privacy questions.
What do we collect?
We may collect your name, work email, project market, project brief, files you choose to upload, correspondence, and basic server/security logs. If analytics is activated later, this notice will identify the provider, cookies, purposes, and consent controls before collection begins.
Why do we use information?
- To answer enquiries, assess a project, prepare a proposal, and deliver an agreed service.
- To protect the website, prevent spam, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations.
- To improve service pages using aggregated information that does not expose client content.
How are project files handled?
Do not upload client-confidential, personal, controlled, export-restricted, or security-sensitive information unless you are authorized and the transfer method is agreed. Large or sensitive datasets should use an approved secure channel after an NDA or data-handling agreement where required.
Which service providers receive data?
The current static forms use FormSubmit to relay enquiries to the company email account. Hosting, email, security, and file-transfer providers may process limited information to provide their services. We do not sell personal information.
How long is information retained?
Enquiries are retained only as long as reasonably needed for commercial follow-up, recordkeeping, disputes, security, and legal obligations. Unsuccessful proposal files and project samples should be deleted or returned under the agreed retention rule. Contract records may be retained longer where law or legitimate business need requires it.
Are international transfers possible?
Yes. Remote delivery may involve processing in more than one country. Contract terms and transfer safeguards should be agreed where UK or EEA data-protection law applies. This website does not claim that every project can be transferred internationally without client approval.
What rights can you request?
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of personal information. Email the address above with enough detail to identify the request. Identity verification may be required before disclosure.
How will changes be published?
Material changes will appear on this page with a new effective date. Project-specific confidentiality and data-processing terms override this general notice where they provide stronger protections.
